Located in North Scottsdale within walking distance to Kierland Commons, Kierland Westin, and the Kierland Golf Club are the Kierland Greens Condominiums. Kierland Greens continues to be one of my favorite condo complexes in Scottsdale due to it’s amazing location, manicured grounds, and resort-style pool and spa.

Centex Homes began construction on Kierland Greens real estate in approximately 1999, building a total of 209 units. Centex did a nice job providing buyers with a varied selection of roomy floorplans and bedroom options. A modest 1 bedroom condo measures in at approximately 1,127 square feet, while the most spacious 3 bedroom unit is approximately 2,080 square feet. Some people may consider Kierland Greens condominiums to actually be townhomes since each unit is equipped with at least a 1 car garage. All the 2 and 3 bedroom units come with 2 car garages.

Currently, there are 9 Kierland Greens condominiums for sale ranging in price from around $200,000 for a 1 bedroom to $529,000 for a large 3 bedroom unit with views of the Kierland golf course and McDowell Mountains located to the East. There’s actually a couple of very nice foreclosures (bank owned properties) available as well.

Homeowners Association

Homeowners fees are approximately $280.00 a month and include exterior maintenance of unit, roof repair, roof replacement, blanket hazard insurance policy, water, sewer, trash, front yard maintenance, common area maintenance, and basic cable (provided by Cox). Kierland Greens also has a security guard that I often see cruising around in his golf cart which offers additional peace of mind.

Property Taxes

Annual property taxes will run about $1850.00 for a 1 bedroom condo, $2,005.00 for a 2 bedroom, and $2,900.00 for a 3 bedroom condominium.

Schools

For those with children, the schools associated with Kierland Greens are Sandpiper Elementary School, Desert Shadows Middle School, and Horizon High School. All schools are located within the Paradise Valley Unified School District.

Golf

As mentioned previously, Kierland Greens is located right on the Kierland Golf Course, but there are many golf courses in the surrounding area. Courses definitely worth checking out are Scottsdale TPC, Grayhawk, Starfire, Sanctuary and the Orange Tree Golf Resort to name a few.

Additional Options

Another option for those that love the Kierland area is Kierland Heritage located just across the street from Kierland Greens. Kierland Heritage has golf course view properties available as well.
